Does everybody have adrenal fatigue? Due to modern living, all of us are putting stress on our adrenal glands. When you go down the list of Adrenal Fatigue symptoms it’s easy to assume that everybody has it. The symptoms may seem quite common for almost anyone. Most chronic diseases are due to inflammation and your adrenals manage that inflammation. So check out the top signs you may need to provide your adrenals with more support.
This is different than just feeling a little groggy on the morning. You will notice this when your morning rituals, like a warm shower or a cup of coffee, don’t perk you up anymore . If mornings have become harder, you may need to support those adrenals.
Body fatigue is different than feeling sleepy. This is when physical effort of any kind seems to just zap any energy you have. This could be a flight of steps, carrying your bag, or reaching for something on a shelf. When these mundane tasks seem to leave you feeling exhausted, you may want to support your adrenals.
Remember, most of these signs are a normal part of life—it’s when they seem to be excessive or more than usual that they come into play with adrenal fatigue. Feeling snappy, irritated, or angry over little things can be due to a lack of the normal hormones that help us deal with these things. When smaller challenges and obstacles seem more overwhelming than usual you could be suffering from adrenal fatigue.
One of the hormones our adrenal glands produce is called aldosterone, which works with our kidneys to help regulate fluid and mineral excretion. When our adrenals are fatigued, they produce less aldosterone which results in our kidneys flushing out too many important minerals our bodies need, right out in our urine. Your body is telling you that you need sodium, potassium, and magnesium which is found in salty and sweet foods.
You feel tired all day and then when it comes to bedtime you can’t sleep or you get a burst of energy. Again your stress hormones are out of whack and instead of giving you a steady supply of energy throughout the day, it dumps it out at night right before bed. Adrenal support can help regulate hormones like cortisol to maintain a steady flow of the hormones you need throughout the day.
